Hi!

As the topic title implies, I´m constructing an Inronman Mark IV armor.

The process I'm using is:

-Pepakura-
First of all, scaling properly each piece of armor.
Then comes printing, cutting, folding and gluing.

-Fiber Glass-
I´m using Polyester Resin plus fiber glass sheet.

-Bondo-
Bondo is used for removing imperfections and detailing.

-Painting-
Coloring the armor.
I haven't reach this stage yet.

At the moment I made the helmet, net, brace and colar plates.
All of them are Fiber Glassed, and I started the bondoing and detailing of the Helmet.

I will take pictures of my development and post it here later on...

I´m doing each piece of armor with specific measurment of the part of the body I want to build.

So I´m not using a single scale.

But let me try to help you, for a 1230mm (1.23m) high kid, I would put something like 2cm more to the height, so I would do a 1250mm high armor (or something close to it).

But keep in mind that the body of a kid is growing fast, and 1.23m today, is 1.24m in 2 months.... so your time laps if small.

Be sure to have a lot of people helping you to build it fast.

You will have to measure the "head" yourself to get proper measurements.

You only need 1 measurment, I recomend the wight of the head, since it´s the easyest to take.
Simply put your kid's head between 2 books, and measure the space between them, then, add 2cm.

For example, if the head has 18cm wight, then put 20cm as helmet wight, the height and depth will be calculated automatically by pepakura.
